Welcome to my 10th mix! It starts out drum and bass and ends up hardstyle, as usual not planned and it was cut short because I needed to finish making dinner… #AdultLife
Lots of looping, cuts and filter/gate comp effects used, and my echo kept misfiring at the start as I had the delay set too long so ignore those bits
I haven’t posted anything since May as there was nothing worth sharing, meanwhile there was nothing done behind the scenes since 9th June as life was getting in the way, anyway this was literally me stepping up to the Pioneers after weeks of them being sat idle, loud music was exactly what was needed after a long days work, no warm up, no practice…
Mixwise I used bass cut, echo, filter, gate/comp and lots of loops here – it’s the first time I’ve had such a long delay on the echo and I really like it!
Welcome to mix 8! I went with a trance theme today, featuring some fresh tracks and some classics
This is uncut and I’m pretty happy with it apart from the end, but being my favourite song from Kevin and Perry it had to stay
You’ll find bass cuts, random fader smashes, loops, filter and echo effects, a few mistakes, but all things considered, I had fun!
Still a lot more practicing to do, but I’ll get there (hopefully, failing that anyone want to be first in line to buy an XDJ-RX?)

I’m getting very familiar with effects and importantly learning to carry on even if things go terribly wrong, although I’m still playing tracks twice so I really need to start planning track lists

Welcome to mix 4 – Bass cuts, loops, effects!
Here’s mix 3 – The effects are starting to creep in, also I’m not sure why I randomly dropped the fader half way through
Anyway, there were some nice cuts and then I completely messed up by playing Seek Bromance twice… maybe I should start planning what tracks to play
Here’s day 5 of putting some effort into hitting the decks – the fade into Levels was pretty bad so bare with!
Have spent roughly 11 hours so far counting to 4 over and over meaning my timing is getting better, also getting the hang of bass cuts so I’ll soon start messing with effects soon!
Hello! So… for a while I’ve hidden some awesome DJ kit from the world to the point where it only seems to come out after watching Kevin and Perry Go Large (yup, that happens!), but given my new amount of spare time I’ve set myself the challenge of learning the top DJ techniques
3 hours later, here’s my attempt first attempt to get my head around bass cuts. Completely messed up the first one but I am new to this!
